  1. To compress a picture:
  2.  
  3. 1. Choose Open from the File menu.
  4.  
  5.     Only PICT files are listed in the 
  6.     Open dialog box. 
  7.  
  8. 2. Select the file you want.
  9.  
  10. 3. Click OK.
  11.  
  12.     The picture opens in a Picture 
  13.     Compressor window.
